Do you know John Muir, the first ecolo-hero ?

#PHILOMOMENT

In these times where a number of people speak up vis à vis environmental damages created by Humans, the question about political dialogue between ecologists and governments is more and more a necessity to prevent, even solve (lets be crazy), the ecologic catastrophe in progress. Yet, some people have some doubts concerning the possibility or the consistency of such an outcome and renounced to hope of receiving any support or help from leaders of this world.

Then, what if we say that something like that already happened in the past? We don’t speak about a traditional meeting with ephemeral smoking in a comfy office where we may have a non-exhaustive sweetness/ beverages but a real dialogue with a D. This can be translated by an immersion in Nature with an ecologist and a president far away from hierarchical protocol; a discussion between two persons thinking together, by the environment comprehension, to discover concrete solutions.

After diverse circumlocutions, here is a piece of John Muir’s story, the first ecologist wanderer of the beginning of the last century.

If his story and his values raise your interest, we highly invite you to have a look at the new book dedicated to him, written by Alexis Jenni,  J’aurais pu être millionnaire j’ai choisi d’être vagabond ( I could have been a millionaire I chose to be a wanderer).
